To reach the Casera you have to travel a couple of kilometers in the gravel bed of the Cellina stream. Very isolated.

Beautiful cottage in the park of the Friulian Dolomites, half closed and used only for park activities, the other half open to hikers, equipped with table, benches, stove, beds upstairs ... The most direct access from Lesis x the Val di Gere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella casera posta in testa alla Val di Gère, a quota 1030 mslm. È divisa in due, una parte chiusa e noleggiabile presso l'ente parco, l'altra adibita a bivacco e sempre aperta. Quest'ultima comprende un locale con tavolo e panche, una stufa economica, un lavandino e un bagno (chiuso nel periodo invernale). Al piano superiore ci sono tre posti letto su tavolato rialzato e altri possibili direttamente sul pavimento in legno. Sul retro c'è una legnaia.
Beautiful dairy located at the head of the Val di Gère, at an altitude of 1030 meters above sea level. It is divided in two, one part closed and available for hire at the park, the other used as a bivouac and always open. The latter includes a room with table and benches, an economic stove, a sink and a bathroom (closed in winter). Upstairs there are three beds on the raised floor and others possible directly on the wooden floor. On the back there is a woodshed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Casera isolata in ambiente selvaggio. Accesso non proprio confortevole sul letto del fiume in Val di Giere. L'ambiente è comunque suggestivo. Da qui si può raggiungere il confortevole Bivacco Caserata, bella baita in posizione aperta e panoramica
Isolated Casera in the wild. Not quite comfortable access on the river bed in Val di Giere. The environment is however suggestive. From here you can reach the comfortable Bivacco Caserata, a beautiful hut in an open and panoramic position
