Located in a panoramic location, it can only be reached on foot by easy path. Great fitness trail.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uno dei tanti suggestivi balconi panoramici che dai primi rilievi si affaccia sulla pianura friulana; il contesto in cui è ubicata la casera è aperto e soleggiato, ideale per escursioni soprattutto durante le mezze stagioni, ma anche in inverno, considerate l'esposizione a sud e l'altimetria non eccessiva. A parte il ripido ma breve tratto finale di sentiero, ci si può arrivare anche in mountain bike (a spinta) dal vicino col Manzon.
One of the many suggestive panoramic balconies that from the first reliefs overlooks the Friuli plain; the context in which the dairy is located is open and sunny, ideal for excursions especially during the middle seasons, but also in winter, considering the southern exposure and the not too high altimetry. Apart from the steep but short final stretch of the path, you can also get there by mountain bike (push) from the nearby Col Manzon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From Travesio you reach Casera Davass after roughly a two-and-a-half-hour trail. From Toppo it takes more or less two hours. The first part of both pathways goes through the woods and the remaining part is on mountain meadows. Its particular position (on the top of the first prealps line) makes the Casera the perfect place from where to behold the valley below and, in clear days, the entire plain up to the sea. The Casera is always open to the public and you can freely spend the night there. No water supply, bring your own food. Make sure that you replace the firewood you use, for those who come after you.
