Inserted in a still uncontaminated rural context, at the homonymous farmhouse, this simple but beautiful country church preserves valuable frescoes, dating back to the 16th century and attributed to Bernardino Luini. It should be open to visits more frequently.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La cascina del soccorso era uno dei più importanti luoghi del sistema cascinale della zona, in stretta connessione con il convento di San Giacomo poco lontano. L'importanza del sito è testimoniata dalla necessità di decorare con grande fasto la bella chiesetta tardo rinascimentale, grazie ad un grande affresco firmato da Bernardino de Vagis (forse di scuola Leonardesca) del 1507: una sacra conversazione con la vergine del soccorso e santi.
La chiesa è privata e la visita è quindi possibile solo dietro richiesta al custode che vive in cascina.
The farmstead of the rescue was one of the most important places in the area's farm system, in close connection with the convent of San Giacomo not far away. The importance of the site is evidenced by the need to decorate the beautiful late Renaissance church with great pomp, thanks to a large fresco signed by Bernardino de Vagis (perhaps of the Leonardesque school) of 1507: a sacred conversation with the virgin of the rescue and saints.
The church is private and the visit is therefore possible only upon request to the caretaker who lives in the farmhouse.
