Posizione ottima a due passi dal centro storico che è da vedere in maniera particolare a sera quando viene chiuso al traffico e si può cenare in ottimi ristoranti nelle varie piazze del paese o gustare dei buonissimi gelati immersi nello splendido barocco siciliano. Peccato per il poco tempo che ho avuto a disposizione ma sicuramente ci ritornerò con più calma. Very nice and quiet apartment excellent cleanliness, the owner a very friendly and helpful person. Great location a stone's throw from the historic center which is to be seen in a special way at night when it is closed to traffic and you can dine in excellent restaurants in the various squares of the town or enjoy delicious ice creams immersed in the splendid Sicilian baroque. Too bad for the little time I had available, but I will certainly return to it more calmly.
L	Letizia Compagnone on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scicli è bellissima, un gioiello del barocco siciliano. Direi la località che mi ha colpita di più di tutto il viaggio. Non solo Scicli è bellissima ma è vivace e meritevoledi tutto il successo che la serie di Montalbano le sta portando. A Scicli ( a pochi passi a piedi dalla struttura B&B) si trova (e si visita) il palazzo che ospita il Commissariato di Vigata. Ma, a parte questo, il paese è pieno di sorprese e scorci mozzafiato: chiese conventi e palazzi barocchi bellissimi e visitabili fino a tarda sera (22,30) grazie alla organizzazione dei giovani abitanti del paese che organizzina visite guidate fino a tardi. E' il paese che meglio di tutti sta sfruttando il successo di Montalbano. La struttura Anticu Dammusu si trova in una posizione eccellente. L'appartamentino messo a disposizione è molto tipico, esattamente rispondente alle foto messe a disposizione. Tenuto in ottimo stato, silenzioso, discreto, comodo. Il proprietario mette a disposizione (gratuitamente) la lavatrice della casa (e tutti i detersivi ). Cosa molto apprezzata poichè mi ha consentito di rinfrescare asciugamani biancheria ed abiti di tutta la famiglia. Ho apprezzato molto anche la discrezione del proprietario che è disponibile ma assolutamente non invadente. Scicli is beautiful, a jewel of Sicilian baroque. I would say the place that impressed me most about the whole trip. Not only is Scicli beautiful but it is lively and deserving of all the success that the Montalbano series is bringing to it. In Scicli (a few steps on foot from the B&B) you will find (and visit) the building that houses the Vigata Commissariat. But, apart from that, the country is full of surprises and breathtaking views: beautiful baroque churches and convents and palaces can be visited until late evening (22.30) thanks to the organization of the young inhabitants of the country that organizzina guided tours until late. It is the country that best exploits the success of Montalbano. The Anticu Dammusu facility is in an excellent location. The apartment made available is very typical, exactly responding to the photos made available. Kept in excellent condition, silent, discreet, comfortable. The owner provides (free of charge) the washing machine in the house (and all detergents). This was very appreciated as it allowed me to freshen up towels and clothes for the whole family. I also appreciated the discretion of the owner who is available but absolutely unobtrusive.
