Located under the slopes of Mount Vesuvius in Herculaneum, this property is an enchanting place. The staff is friendly and offers its customers the opportunity to organize special events and private parties. Exclusive, intimate, elegant, enveloping environments and culinary delicacies make the event you have always wanted to be unforgettable.

We stayed at this facility to organize my baby's second birthday. We chose the menu with Mr. Ennio, a person of great competence and friendship who followed us with a lot of patience in everything that could be useful for the event. Accompanied by Mrs. Antonella we agreed and on the evening of the event we found well cooked and abundant food. Cake corner prepared with care, a lot of sympathy and availability. I thank Ennio, Paolo and Antonella who have prepared a clean and relaxing location for us

My son chose this location for his wedding. I thought they could live up to it. Fair quality food. Two guests and LA SPOSA had special dietary needs but, despite having requested a menu with suitable variations well in advance, the 'special' courses (without pork) never arrived. The three people concerned were unable to eat most of the starters and main courses. After making arrangements for a fake wedding cake for photos and another one to offer to guests, we ended up with nearly half of the guests disappointed at the lack of cake. Three very small cakes (maximum 10 cake portions) were presented for more than 100 guests. At the time of cutting the cake we were only given two bottles of sparkling wine. They finished while we were taking pictures with the bride and groom and the cake, no guests could toast with the couple. The day after the event, we were contacted by the guests who expressed many complaints about the arrangement of the cars in the parking lot of the location. Unbeknownst to us, there were 2 parking attendants who demanded a fee of 3 euros per car. They wanted immediate payment and did not accept excuses. Absolutely unacceptable and a poor figure for us and for the location. Final judgment for quality / price ratio: BAD.

There are many clubs and activities located close to Vesuvius. Casa Maryà is one of them. The restaurant is elegant, very large and equipped with both internal and external seats. The first thing that strikes you is the panorama that can be admired from some terraces. The interior space is well-kept and well furnished. The external one, on the other hand, I found it decidedly less inviting, but it is probably due to the fact that the summer season has not officially started yet. Having been there on Sunday for lunch, the only option was that of the fixed menu sea or land at 35 euros, consisting of an appetizer, two samples of first and second courses, fruit and coffee. And I already state that, honestly, I would not take it back. The quantity and quality ratio plays against them. Octopus and potato appetizer with seaweed pancake and omelette pie. Pleasant, but without "UAO!" Effect. The first fish dishes (gnocchi with salmon and squid ink rice) I found them not very elaborate and almost without flavor. The second course is better, baked sea bream with 3 zucchini chips. They could have been more generous. But the thing that I really found hallucinating was the wait. Arriving at 1pm, we finished lunch at 6.15pm. Between the appetizer and the first courses there was a wait of about two hours, justified by the fact that - and I quote - "you have to wait for the dishes to come out of the other tables as well, to optimize cooking times". I understand that eating out is an opportunity to socialize and pass the time, but you can't turn a lunch into a kidnapping. Maybe on less crowded occasions and with the possibility of ordering à la carte the situation improves, but from what I saw yesterday I don't feel like recommending it.
