★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't judge a book by its cover- this is an amazing little restaurant with a really hospitable, friendly owner. The food was just amazing, the prices are super fair and we left stuffed and happy. This was the authentic Neapolitan experience we hoped to find.
Everything here tasted like heaven.
It was a pleasure to be here.

The food was so good, we went there two more times - so 3 times in a one week long stay haha. Every day a new menu with fresh produce, guys working there take their time to translate and explain menu into English if you are not sure what something is. Very very nice place, food and awesome chocolate and pistachio liquors!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found this place quite by accident. It looks like a lunch room, which is a lot more pleasing to me than fancy restaurant interiors. Even more important, it's where the locals eat, which is usually the best recommendation.
It was so in this case. What others have written about the friendliness of the owner/cook/server was the same for us. We arrived at ~8:00. The only other patrons were a party of four. By the time we left, about an hour later, every table was taken. I joked with the owner that since we were leaving he now had another table available.
We had the sliced chicken with grilled vegetables. The chicken was beautifully tender. The vegetables were grilled but served cold. Apparently that is the way here; our vegetables at another restaurant the previous night were the same.
The prices are unbelievably low. Our chicken cost €7 each. A glass of house white wine was €3.50.
We have two more nights in Napoli, and we will return to Casa Lazzarone!
