Very friendly and informative about Venice’s thing to do, places to eat ect... which was a nice touch. The room needed a little TLC in most places which wouldn’t be a big job to do as things were getting worn and some things were quite dusty. The room itself was on a slant which was very quirky. We slept well every night with no outside noise and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. The TV needed some English speaking channels or at least English subtitles. Great for location and price!
D	Diënne Hoofs on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful room at a great location but the service was awkward and the bathroom old and mouldy. When we arrived we were hardly greeted because the owner had a religious friend visiting (if you don't want to greet female travellers travelling alone you should not hang out with your hospitality friends at their workplace). We had a one minute exchange in broken English and that was the only time we were able to talk to someone. The housekeeping staff doesn't speak any English so trying to get a clean sheet turned out to be a fruitless ordeal. There is a nespresso machine in the room but no capsules. There is hardly any water pressure, washing your hair is a challenge. If it wasn't for the location and the beautiful high beams in the room the rating would have been even lower.

The booking company we booked through didn’t pass on the details re: check in so double check your information. Check in closes early afternoon so if you’re checking in late notify the hotel. The hotel is also hard to find. Very small label on the door. I would definitely stay here again.
