Misleading nomenclature.
There is no mutilated inside, probably moved because of the incessant works in front of the building.

Nel 1935 il Comune di Ravenna approvò il progetto di costruzione della "nuova piazza del mercato" (oggi piazza Kennedy) e, tra il 1937 e il 1939, avviò ampi lavori: nell'ambito di un radicale rinnovamento degli spazi del centro e dell'immagine urbana vennero interamente spianati in funzione dell'apertura della nuova piazza, gli edifici precedenti.
Il progetto dell'edificio, commissionato dall'Associazione nazionale mutilati e invalidi di guerra, fu redatto dall'Architetto Matteo Focacciatra il 1938 e il 1942.

In 1935 the Municipality of Ravenna approved the construction project of the "new market square" (today Piazza Kennedy) and, between 1937 and 1939, started extensive works: as part of a radical renewal of the spaces in the center and the urban image were completely flattened according to the opening of the new square, the previous buildings.
The building project, commissioned by the National Association for the Disabled and War Disabled, was drawn up by the architect Matteo Focacciatra in 1938 and 1942.
