Negative: We actually liked everything we re just unlucky that it was a very windy night and as the room it's close to the road it can be very noise..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Catherine is an excellent host and the house is nicely furnished. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, it’s really a must have. There’s a great community area / playroom, which is perfect to hang out, listen to music and drink some wine. We had a dog, she enjoyed it as much as we did. Highly recommended!!!.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely Tuscan farmhouse and friendly host! Great location to explore Chianti and take a day road trip through scenic Val d'Orcia. Thank you for a delightful stay in your lovely Casa Cernano and for the extremely useful tips, Catherine! Only thing we would suggest is that a refrigerator could be helpful in the rooms though there is a communal one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A charming homestay located on the outskirts of Castelnuovo Berardenga. Catherine’s rooms may be simple but they are extremely clean, bug-free with crisp white sheets and nice big towels.
Catherine went above and beyond to help us in all aspects of our stay - arranging wine tasting, booking restaurants and suggesting places to visit. We felt at home, and the atmosphere of the B&B was very soothing & calming. The communal garden area is a perfect place to take an apéro and watch the sunset. We will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at Catherine & Lawrence's twice in the past 3 years and would highly recommend it! The rooms have everything you need, are clean and well maintained. It's also the grounds and Catherine's hospitality that make it such a nice experience. Also worth mentioning it's ideally located in the countryside, 15mn away from Siena and a short drive away to many places in Chianti and Val d'Orcia. We'd happily stay again for the 3rd time when we are back in Tuscany :)

The rooms are clean and comfortable, and Catherine’s generous hospitality and local knowledge of all the best spots to eat, drink, and visit for the day made our stay here a treat. We will be back!
