Mi ha guardato infastidita quando le ho chiesto di provare un cappello appeso in alto (che ho poi acquistato), cosa che le ha richiesto l'immane sforzo di utilizzare una piccola scala. Da notare che, vista l'assenza di altri clienti nel punto vendita, la commessa se ne stava lì con le mani in mano e una maggiore gentilezza sarebbe stata assai apprezzata: sembrava quasi che mi stesse facendo un favore, invece che il suo lavoro!
Young saleswoman listless and with rude ways. She looked at me in annoyance when I asked her to try on a hat hanging overhead (which I later purchased), which required the tremendous effort of using a small scale. It should be noted that, given the absence of other customers in the store, the saleswoman stood there with her hands in her hands and a greater kindness would have been greatly appreciated: it almost seemed that she was doing me a favor, instead of her job!
