Beautiful and neat vineyard with friendly (English speaking) employee. Delicious (Chianti) wine too, not unimportant. :)

We visited a winery whose wine I have been drinking for about twenty years, with immense love. In fact it was a little dream come true, to visit a small, quality winery and see how they make such a special wine. We tasted different types and even bought excellent olive oil produced by them, in addition to some excellent bottles of wine.

โ โ โ โ โ Wir hatten uns auf ein Wein-Tasting mitten in der Toskana gefreut. Leider waren die Antworten auf unsere Mails am Tag zuvor mit der Nachfrage nach einem Tasting schon sehr kryptisch. Wir sind dann einfach mit dem Rad hingefahren, wurden dann vor Ort aber nur kรผhl begrรผรt und in den Verkaufsraum geleitet.
Dort gab es dann kein schรถnes Tasting auf einer sonnigen Terrasse mit ein paar Kleinigkeiten zu Essen, sondern nur vier kleine Schlรผcke in einem kleinen Raum - im Stehen. Die Weine waren lecker, weshalb wir auch vier Flaschen mitgenommen haben. Ein Tasting haben wir aber nicht bekommen, einen spontanen Besuch kรถnnen wir hier daher nicht empfehlen.
We were looking forward to a wine tasting in the middle of Tuscany. Unfortunately, the answers to our emails the day before with the request for a tasting were very cryptic. We then simply rode there by bike, but were only greeted coolly on site and shown into the sales room.
There was no nice tasting on a sunny terrace with a few snacks to eat, but only four small sips in a small room - while standing. The wines were delicious, which is why we took four bottles with us. However, we did not get a tasting, so we cannot recommend a spontaneous visit here.

You cannot try the wines locally so you better know what to go for.

โ โ โ โ โ Great tour of a classic vineyard in the eastern section of the DOC. A wonderful guide (English) who was knowledgeable without being over-bearing. When we visited, there was no charge for the tour and tasting...but reservations are required and walk-ups were not accommodated during our visit.
