Così Giuseppe Sunseri, poeta trabiese, scriveva della piccola cappella di Santa Rosalia, la cui costruzione iniziò nel 1904 e venne ultimata negli anni Venti per volere di un galantuomo trabiese, il Signor Salvatore Gurgiolo. La cappella fu costruita utilizzando stalattiti e stalagmiti raccolti dai giovani trabiesi all’interno delle grotte del Castello Lanza. Attorno alla Cappella è stata realizzata un’area con dipinti e mosaici incorniciati da ciottoli di mare. Sulla scogliera è stata realizzata una statua che rappresenta un pescatore, uno dei più antichi e diffusi mestieri di Trabia che richiama l’attenzione di grandi e bambini. Nelle vicinanze della Cappella, fino agli anni Novanta, vi era la presenza di piccolo approdo utilizzato dai pescatori trabiesi. "On the sea of Trabia there is a small sanctuary, made of cave stones all in splendid colors". So Giuseppe Sunseri, Trabiese poet, wrote about the small chapel of Santa Rosalia, whose construction began in 1904 and was completed in the 1920s at the behest of a gentleman from Trabiese, Signor Salvatore Gurgiolo. The chapel was built using stalactites and stalagmites collected by young Trabiesi in the caves of the Lanza Castle. An area has been created around the chapel with paintings and mosaics framed by sea pebbles. A statue representing a fisherman was created on the cliff, one of the oldest and most widespread trades in Trabia that attracts the attention of adults and children. In the vicinity of the chapel, until the nineties, there was the presence of a small landing place used by fishermen from Trabiesi.

Pizzeria poco attive nel periodo invernale.. un'altro Lugo che definisco il top della zona Fantastic place I have been going there since I was little ... now I take my daughter like my father did ... place of fishermen, clean air and fantastic panorama. Alles ziet er hetzelfde uit, met dezelfde kleine steentjes. Mooi uitzicht en bij een restaurant. Kapel zelf kun je niet in maar wel via een hek erdoorheen kijken. This is a nice piece to the sea, with a beautiful chapel made of stones. It looks beautiful, there is a lot of love and attention put into. Everything looks the same, with the same small stones. Beautiful views and a restaurant. Chapel itself can not but see through it over a fence.

After a few left and right turns we drove down this really small road. There is a parking lot from the wonderful restaurant next door where you can park easily.
