★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Magnifico esempio di Barocco Siciliano, struttura architettonica imponente, all' interno pitture del 1430 artisticamente significative, ed altre opere di notevole fattura. La Chiesa oggi non svolge piu' attività di culto ma é stata interamente annessa all' adiacente Museo Civico. Periodicamente viene aperta per delle mostre artistiche. Si consiglia una visita.
Magnificent example of Sicilian Baroque, imposing architectural structure, artistically significant 1430 paintings, and other noteworthy works. The Church today no longer carries out cult activities but has been entirely annexed to the adjacent Civic Museum. Periodically it is open for artistic exhibitions. We recommend a visit.

Uscendo ho incontrato un impiegato comunale addetto al museo limitrofo che ha fornito ragguagli su un arazzo di dimensioni giganti contornato di coralli. Un arazzo che originariamente era conservato nel Castello di Cac amo e poi comprato o ceduto al comune di T. Imerese dove ha sede la chiesa. La gentilezza del cicerone e la descrizione dei luoghi e della storia dell' arazzo sono stati una piacevole sorpresa .
I was there because a book written by a friend was being presented. On leaving I met a municipal employee from the neighboring museum who gave information on a giant-sized tapestry surrounded by corals. A tapestry that was originally kept in the Castle of Cac amo and then bought or sold to the municipality of T. Imerese where the church is located. The kindness of the guide and the description of the places and history of the tapestry were a pleasant surprise.
