★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La cappella si trova lungo via XX Settembre sul bordo
stradale.
Non è stato possibile risalire con esattezza all’epoca di
costruzione della cappella. Gli elementi architettonici e
stilistici, nonché i materiali utilizzati ci fanno pensare ad
una costruzione del XX secolo, questo considerando
anche il fatto che il culto della Madonna di Lourdes è
abbastanza recente (l’anno della prima apparizione è il
1858).
Caratteristiche architettoniche / artistiche
L’ingresso alla cappella si affaccia lungo la strada principale
del paese riprendendo caratteri stilistici dell’architettura
classica. Un timpano triangolare è sostenuto da
due lesene che poggiano su un gradino che innalza la
cappella rispetto al piano stradale. La porta, posizionata
leggermente arretrata rispetto al ciglio stradale crea
un piccolo spazio di sosta coperto. Il passante può così
fermarsi in preghiera e osservare l’interno della cappella
attraverso la grata nella parte superiore della porta in
ferro. Sopra alla porta campeggia la scritta “Madonna
di Lourdes”.
All’interno è stato ricreato l’ambiente tipico di una grotta
con le pareti rivestite da sassi. Sul pavimento in cemento
e pietra poggia un piccolo altare mentre sullo sfondo
sono posizionate le due statue della Madonna di Lourdes
e di Bernadette inginocchiata.
 The chapel is located along via XX Settembre on the edge
road.
It was not possible to trace exactly the time of
construction of the chapel. Architectural elements e
stylistic as well as the materials used make us think of
a construction of the twentieth century, this recital
also the fact that the cult of Our Lady of Lourdes is
quite recent (the year of the first appearance is the
1858).
Architectural / artistic characteristics
The entrance to the chapel faces the main road
of the country taking up stylistic features of architecture
classic. A triangular tympanum is supported by
two pilasters that rest on a step that raises the
chapel in relation to the road surface. The door, positioned
slightly set back from the roadside it creates
a small covered parking space. The passerby can so
stop in prayer and observe the interior of the chapel
through the grate at the top of the door in
iron. Above the door stands the inscription "Madonna
of Lourdes ".
The typical environment of a cave has been recreated inside
with the walls covered with stones. On the concrete floor
and stone rests a small altar while in the background
the two statues of the Madonna of Lourdes are positioned
and Bernadette kneeling.
