★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eretta nel XV secolo dopo l'epidemia di peste del 1428 o del 1460. A San Sebastiano, infatti, ci si rivolgeva per debellare il terribile morbo. Il primo documento nel quale viene citata risale agli anni fra il 1559 e il 1562.
Ha pianta quadrata di circa 6 metri di lato. L'apertura frontale è ad arco, sulle pareti e sulle vele della volta gli affreschi raffigurano i devoti sotto il manto della Vergine, San Sebastiano con San Rocco e le tentazioni di Sant'Antonio.
Anticamente era posta appena fuori l'abitato del paese, in prossimità della Porta del borgo.
Divenne famosa quando negli anni 1931-1932 venne trasferita "tutta intera" dal luogo più a monte dove si trovava, sino al sito attuale, distante ben 140 metri: fasciata fu fatta scorrere di pochi metri al giorno su rulli con rotaie.
La Domenica del Corriere le dedicò una tavola di copertina.
Erected in the 15th century after the plague epidemic of 1428 or 1460. In fact, people turned to San Sebastiano to eradicate the terrible disease. The first document in which it is cited dates back to the years between 1559 and 1562.
It has a square plan of about 6 meters on each side. The front opening is arched, on the walls and on the sails of the vault the frescoes depict the devotees under the mantle of the Virgin, San Sebastiano with San Rocco and the temptations of Sant'Antonio.
In ancient times it was located just outside the town, near the Porta del Borgo.
It became famous when in the years 1931-1932 it was transferred "whole" from the upstream place where it was located, up to the current site, 140 meters away: wrapped it was made to slide a few meters a day on rollers with rails.
