★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved this hotel. Helpful friendly, English speaking staff. Excellent facilities in room - kettle, iron and ironing board! Tea and coffee making, mini bar, good shower and very comfortable bed. In a very convenient spot for visiting the old town island area (Ortigia), which is well worth a day spent there. The restaurant and to service is quite expensive, so we ate out, loads of eateries of varying descriptions, and a small supermarket very nearby. Highly recommend, and out of season very reasonable price for the facilities. Oh, and the hotel breakfast is excellent, a highlight!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Caportigia boutique hotel is an excellent location to benefit from the comfort offered. At the same time at a pedestrian distance from Ortigia, but not in the daily chaos of the beautiful town. Classy services in a period building. Large common areas. The room that they assigned us with an upgrade was beautiful, the terrace on which they offered us an aperitif is remarkable. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended. Congratulations to Valentina, the talented chef of the Il Tiranno restaurant

staff professional and gentle.
room had high painted ceiling, with a couch. decent size. modern wall pugs (with usb) to charge ur devices.
nice bathroom, with coloured dim lights. iron board in the room.
nice hotel terrace upstairs for a drink.
