★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an absolute pleasure to visit Cantina Paltrinieri. Our tour guide, Valentina, was very knowledgable about wine and the vineyard, as well as balsamic vinegar. She was also extremely friendly and very welcoming. We really enjoyed learning about the different kinds of grapes and sparkling wines, and Alberto and Barbara’s passion to create and share their wines with the world was incredible to see. If you visit, I would most definitely recommend the Super Tour and Tasting, as this was definitely worth it. We had a private tour (just me and a friend), and it was great to have such a personalized experience. I’ve never tried so many shades of sparkling wine that I loved so much. When leaving, be sure to ask the staff for lunch and dinner recommendations - they really had great ideas, and Alberto even made lunch reservations for us, and arranged dinner plans! If I’m ever back in Modena, I’ll definitely stop by this vineyard again! Thank you to the wonderful team for such a warm and hospitable visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall we loved the wines, enjoyed hearing about the property’s history, and enjoyed the tour that accompanied the winery. If you’re able to arrange a tour (do so via email), Id highly recommend doing so. The host was lovely, including everyone else we met (coowner, workers, label designer / artist). We tasted the full wine list (8 in total), in addition to some of their small balsamic production. All great quality products, and some of our favourite Lambrusco’s from the region (we visited a few!).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible. A beautiful place but the degustation was out of this world. Phenomenal wine that completely destroys the false narrative that lambrusco is a lower quality drop. The 45 year old balsamic vinegar was divine as well. 5 star.
