★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the most amazing experience at Cantina Mezzacane! We were welcomed to the beautiful winery and they treated as family. Fantastic wine, cheese, meats and we especially loved meeting the friendly dogs and cats!
Truly the best hospitality we have experienced in Italy so far. We are inspired by this passion project and highly recommend a visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a memorable experience because it was the first time I saw wine amphoras being used! We were driving along the Piemonte and Lombardia country roads when we saw this interesting winery logo (mezzacane means "half dog" in Italian) and decided to stop. Very interesting to hear about the different process, how the clay vases were bought and installed and why they chose this less traditional path to make wine. Caterina was an exquisite host during the wine tasting and explained how the family operation (established in 2019) produce their three unique wines. This was a fun Sunday detour :)
