★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I had been writing this a year ago, when Nonna Amalia was still working at the restaurant I would be giving a 5 star review. My partner and I returned to the restaurant for the third year running with the hopes and expectations Amalia would be cooking her delicious pasta. Unfortunately, there was no pasta and no Amalia, so the only option was to order from the grill menu. We waited 1.5 hours after ordering to be served our meal. Made worse that we couldn't even get served another round of drinks. Our side dishes arrived 30 minutes before our actual grill was ready, but we were so hungry that we ate it. Antonio needs this granny back, despite her age she runs a tight ship. Sadly, the gentleman operating the grill is moving around like a sloth, I honestly have no idea why it took him 1.5 hours to grill thin cuts of beef medium-rare. The restaurant wasn't overly busy but unfortunately all clientele that evening were waiting ridiculously long to be served their meal. There were no apologies. The grill wasn't worth the wait and we won't be returning next year during our summer holiday.

Also offers a shop for some wine, prosecco etc.and the vinegar they offer is especially excellent - albeit a bit pricey for the size of the bottle.

Prosecco testing was wonderful for affordable price also. last but not least the lovely old women who welcomed us even though there was language barrier. Quality drinks??
