Lovely welcoming, peaceful shady site with wonderful atmosphere on a gorgeous little lake. Owners are lovely. Lovely swimming pool, brilliant, shady playground. 3 amp or 6 amp electricity, no shop, but shops close to hand. The little lake is so picturesque, with ducks and moor hens abounding. I really cant stress enough how wonderful this place is. Pitch 164, we will return to you. Now the nitty gritty: Very clean but dated facilities, toilet seats in one set of ladies toilets but not for the mens. Showers by token, 4 minutes per token. No on site shop (but they sell ice creams). Pizzeria next door, we didnt try. Lots of local shops and the shop outside the campsite sells bread. Approach road was a challenge for our 7.3 metre caravan. But we made it. Would I return? In a heartbeat. Thank you camping Ranacchio, you rock ?

Nice place with rather small but well shaded pitches. Difficult to get into and out of them with a reasonable sized caravan. Location, staff and facilities were excellent (even if the weather wasn't). Easy access to the lake. 24 hr carrefour 15 min walk or 5 min cycle ride.

This camp site was reasonably priced for the summer holidays. It has a nice swimming pool with a shallower pool for the little ones. Dogs welcome. Facilities are quite dated, no soap or toilet roll? It was quiet at night, but you are quite close together so noise could be an issue. 8 out of 10 families there are Dutch (you can have your own opinion on that). Beautiful views of the mountains and lake too.

Stayed at this camp site for the last two weeks of August. Definitely some of the best value one could get from one. The location of the camping is great; easy access to all the necessities, some even in walking distance, while offering minimal distractions in terms of urban noise. The camping looks nice, too. While we didn't choose the camping for lake Piano, it was a good to have it around. Pitches are fairly big and during our stay there were plenty to choose from. Excellent shade, too. Electric is included but keep in mind that the 3A is not enough to use your electric kettle, so find another way or pay them the €3.00 to upgrade to 6A. Bathrooms were always clean and there was plenty of capacity. It all feels a bit dated, though, like the lack of toilet paper or the mostly lukewarm water. So while it's perfectly functional, it is something to take into consideration if this is high on your list of priorities. The owners speak Italian, English, German, French, and to my surprise, Dutch. They are incredibly patient and helpful. Definitely some of the best experience I had interacting with camping staff.

Made reservation for the camping. The mail states: if arriving after 12 o'clock let us know, we make sure the space is available. 3 days before arriving, we confirmed our stay but arriving around 14-15h. When arriving our camping spot was given to other people. Same for a family of 5 which was waiting in front of us. Real shitshow, no other words to explain..

Great location by the lake which you can swim in, fantastic staff. Clean pool. Great for cycling as well. Super clean sanitation. Bonus: Walking distance to supermarkets. No need to take a car.

Lovely owners which are always open to help you out. The place is calm and chill to stay. There is a lake β€žLago di Pianoβ€œ that is next to the camping place. The restrooms are being cleaned 2-3 times a day which is pretty good. Also it’s the perfect spot since you can reach the small town Porlezza for supplies and restaurants (the town is bordering the lake β€žLuganoβ€œ). To the east you can get to the β€žComoβ€œ lake. I definitely can recommend this place!

One of the best campings we have been to! Pitches are big enough, flat, direct by a small abnd sweet lake...perfect to relax! It was really relaxing, no noise... The best are the owners, super nice and helpful and a very relaxed vibe. Toilettes and showers are clean and comfortable, we spent amazing days there! The only negative thing is that there is no toilette paper.
