β β β β β The location is great, right on the lake's shore, but that's the sole argument in favor of this place as the sanitaries are old and dirty. The spots are basically dirt and sand.
Very bad : the staff didn't tell me that the hot showers were extra so I ended up not being able to buy any coins and I had to shower with the cold ones. Not a smart move.

β β β β β Small camping, situated literally next to Lake Como. The facilities are a little dated, though clean. You need to pay for warm water. The camping has some nice spots, but not very much designed for tents, I think.

β β β β β 12 meter long, that is the max length car and caravan. If you are longer you won't get in of the gate to the camping area. Everything here is narrow, that means that you will be right up again the mountain road (not a problem), and right next to the beach (rock beach not sand). Worth the trip down the narrow roads to get here. Very short walk from the little city with narrow bars and restaurants.

β β β β β Terrible experience, very impolite owner. We kindly asked to register us and give back the ID cards as we never allow people to keep them. The receptionist treated us like he doesnβt give a f***. Avoid at all cost. Not to mention poor quality of the camping itself, but it wouldnβt be soo bad if we were treated properly.

β β β β β Great location but a bit basic in services eg pay extra (1euro) for hot shower and no hot water for washing up or washing clothes. But a great base to explore the lake from due to proximity to ferries if you do not have alternative transport like us.

β β β β β Very friendly owners who like dogs. The sanitary facilities are old but they still work. Hot shower costs 1β¬ for roundabout 5 minutes. The lake view is spectacular.
It's not perfect but it's a campsite that's not overcharged .
What you see is what you get.
We loved it.

β β β β β βNo frillsβ really sums it up. The campground is compact. Itβs fairly close to the main thoroughfare so itβs convenient, but you also hear traffic at all hours. The bathrooms seemed clean but dated. Check-in and check-out were easy. The price seemed a little much. Not bad for one night.
