★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein typischer, italienischer Ferienplatz mit vielen Dauercampern. Die ca. 70 Touristenplätze liegen nah am See, der hier, ganz untypisch für den Lago Maggiore, nur ein schmaler Arm ist und keinen "typischen Blick" bereithält. Die pitches sind ausreichend groß und haben auch etwas Schatten. Bademöglichkeit mit Liegewiese, Brötchenservice und kleine Pizzeria/Bar. Der Empfang war freundlich und gut englischsprachig.
Der Knackpunkt sind die Sanitäranlagen für die man etwas härter gesotten sein muss. Während die Duschen mit dünnem Wasserstrahl noch einigermaßen ok sind, sind die Toiletten ohne WC-Brillen & Papier nichts für Zartbesaitete.
Der Platz liegt nur etwa 100m von einer größeren Straße, an der sich ein Supermarkt und andere Mega-Stores aneinander reihen, entfernt. Auf dem Platz bekommt man davon aber gar nichts mit. Allerdings gibt es abends eine andere Lärmquelle:
im Sommer wird auf dem CP nebenan (Luftlinie 60m zu den Touristen-Stellplätten) oft Disco gefeiert, d.h. lauter Techno-Lärm garniert mit gebrüllten italienischen DJ-Einlagen bis etwa 01:00. Dann lärmen noch etwa 1h die besoffenen Jugendlichen auf dem Weg in ihr Zelt. DAS ist schon ein Wermutstropfen und hat uns letztendlich zur Abreise gebracht...
A typical Italian vacation spot with many permanent campers. The approx. 70 tourist pitches are located close to the lake, which, quite atypically for Lake Maggiore, is only a narrow arm here and does not have a "typical view". The pitches are big enough and also have some shade. Swimming with sunbathing lawn, bread service and small pizzeria/bar. The reception was friendly and spoke good English.
The sticking point are the sanitary facilities for which you have to be a little hard-boiled. While the showers with a thin water jet are still reasonably ok, the toilets without toilet seats and paper are not for the faint-hearted.
The square is only about 100m from a larger street, which is lined with a supermarket and other mega stores. But you don't notice anything on the pitch. However, there is another source of noise in the evening:
In summer, discos are often held on the campsite next door (60m as the crow flies to the tourist parking spaces), i.e. loud techno noise garnished with roared Italian DJ interludes until around 1:00 a.m. Then the drunken youngsters made a noise about 1 hour on the way to their tent. THAT is a drop of bitterness and ultimately made us leave...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely site and wonderful that you can swim directly from the front in Lake Maggiore. No toilet paper. Power extra, wifi extra, not a lot of charm. They just wanted to charge for every little thing which left a bad taste.

. You will need coins to shower (for the warm water) and even then the showers can be cold. Als the toilets were a bit old (no toiletseats). But everything was clean!
