Electriciteit is ruimschoots aanwezig.
One of the nicest campsites and experiences of our road trip in Italy. We will definitely come back here! Looking for authentic Italy and an overnight stay in the Italian landscape, we came across this campsite. On arrival at the campsite, however, we were not convinced of our choice. Not only did the access road (around 300 m off-road) seem to have had its best time, there was only one other camper present. Fortunately we stayed and the stay turned out to be an enrichment of our vacation! :-) It is a small-scale campsite with no clearly defined places. There are shady spots and privacy through bushes. Electricity is plentiful. The campsite is owned by a very friendly couple. You sign up at the campsite on top of the hill at the house. There are also the sanitary facilities and there is a large table available for breakfast / lunch / dinner or just to sit together and enjoy the view. Toilets and showers are modern and clean (and you don't see that much in Italy). It turned out that the campsite is surrounded by nature at night. From the tent we could enjoy a beautiful starry sky, we heard a deer walking past the tent and an owl communicating with her boy. Awesome! The campsite has a strategic location on the border of Tuscany and Umbria. From here you can visit many beautiful and beautiful (medieval) cities, such as Perugia, Siena, Montepulciano, Orvieto and many others. The exceptionally friendly and helpful owners are happy to give you advice about these sights, activities and routes. They speak Italian, French and a little bit of Spanish. With the help of sign language and Google Translate, we nevertheless had the most fun conversations. On the morning of departure we were invited by the lady of the house for breakfast and a good cup of coffee! :-) For more information and photos, see their website. Before I forget: After I once walked on the gravel path, it turned out to be great to ride, even with a car with a sports suspension and fully loaded. There are only a few excellent stones that can be steered well.

Beautiful place with very nice owners. Quiet and clean in the middle of nature. I was even allowed to pick plums for the trip :) Bumpy entrance for deep vehicles;) Would love to come back!

No giochi Bimbi, no spazi comuni, no barbecue, no spaccio alimentari... Silenzio assoluto di notte, rilassante e bello. a me è piaciuto!
In two words: Spartan and authentic. SPARTANO: because the services are minimal and essential. Because the access is on a dirt road of about 500meters and the entrance there is an incredible to very narrow U-shaped curve that is impossible to do with Camper and Caravan above 6 meters without additional maneuver (very complex in caravans) in the adjacent small square on the right , only to return to the entrance with the nose of the car straight .... The few pitches are poorly leveled and have only electricity and nothing more. Children No games, no common areas, no barbecues, no grocery store ... Toilet (found perfect and squeaky clean) away from the pitches and lane dimly lit nighttime access. AUTHENTIC: the place surrounded by nature in the true sense of the word have a different experience from the super camping / villages more and more fashionable now. The managers are always available to give information and a chat and found it enjoyable. Absolute silence at night, relaxing and beautiful. I liked it! Good place to visit nearby villages, too expensive for what it offers. Nevertheless, I do not recommend visiting.

Servizi igienici e doccie superpuliti e igienizzati.
Very large pitches in a wood to which the hospitality of the owners and kindness can be added. Super clean and sanitized toilets and showers.

The camping is not really bad, but it has some flaws that made it a mediocre experience that could have been very pleasant: 1 there is no freezer / fridge service, but the owners gave us the possibility to put things in their external freezer. The problem is that they were a little annoyed when it came time to take the products, as we didn't have the possibility to access them. 2 Toilets and showers are clean, but they are very far from the tent pitches and the boulevard is not illuminated at night. There is neither soap nor toilet paper. 3 The area is completely isolated and to reach any attraction you have to drive several kilometers. 4 Although most of the pitches were free, we had to share ours with other campers, so it was impossible to respect the necessary distance limits in this pandemic period. 5 We had to pay a supplement of 3 euros per shower for the morning of departure, despite not having showered every day (see photo). And the shower should be done "possibly" by 11pm. 6 The access road is narrow, full of rocks and uncomfortable, without an off-road vehicle. 7 There is no possibility to dispose of separate waste collection: everything ends up in a single bin. 8 The prices are not very low compared to the other places, since the only services on the pitch are an electric socket and a drinking fountain. Also there is some confusion regarding the rates. In general, the fact that it's a family-run place is both what makes it interesting and what makes it unpleasant. Because you can't give a curfew to customers with regard to showers and lights on, for example. I recommend to those who want to be quiet a few days in nature, because it is very quiet, but not to those who intend to explore the surroundings or to those who want to do a little later in the evening.

We loved this place. True the track up is bumpy but what a treat when you arrive. Nothing fancy, but authentic. Beautiful setting in the trees with olive groves up to the house. The owners are very hospitable. The facilities immaculate. Nice and small. Really felt like real Italy.
