★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came and the guy at the reception wasnt very kind. Asked if we could look at the places. Got a map with one option, but walked on and saw better options. But to overcrowded to our taste.
Kindly gave the map back.
Had to look at the googlemaps for a second on the parkingspace in front of the camping. But he came with a unkind grin telling us to leave. There where many unoccupied places, so it was just pure unkindness!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very neat campsite, with lake access. Well run. Clean facilities. Restaurant with classic Italian food at decent prices. Half are permanent campers, rest voyagers . Smallish spots , bit level and with shade. Not much nearby, so need bike or car to get around or shop

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Graceful, nice, and full of local Italians who are really sweet, real good food, perfect for a week's camping, perhaps most suitable for tents, but there are many caravans. YOU MUST HAVE TOLIET PABER WITH, BUT OTHERWISE IT IS CHEAP.

All in all lovely place, and lovely people .. Hurray to them .. ? ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve never felt so welcome! The manager is so friendly and helpful! We walked around and chose our own spot - we ended up choosing the one recommended as the best one and it was wonderful, with a view straight over the lake. The restaurant also has a view and always had room for us. Couldn’t have been better!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Camping Cave is a tightly managed campsite, overlooking the lake. The owner is a nice man, speaking some English, good French and of course, Italian. The site is a little expensive, as all campsites are in the area, so be prepared to pay as much as a cheap hotel for a single pitch.
The Campsite: the camping pitches are nice, very hard ground however, so bring good pegs! The site is well maintained, and management is kept tight throughout. This is the first campsite I have seen that does not allow dogs, so bear that in mind.
The location: the campsite is up a small country road and the nearest decent supermarket is about 45 minutes walk/7 minutes drive away. The area is very nice, although expect many tourists in high season.
The Amenities: The toilets do not have any toilet seats (in the men's) and the showers are the push type you have to push every 30 seconds. The toilets and showers are kept very clean, and there are plenty for everyone. There is free WiFi at the bar until 9pm.
The environment: a few mosquitos, but not too aggressive, not too many bugs, and comfortable weather.
Overall, a very nice place, at a high price, managed very well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautifull place, no question. We had luck with our patche, that we could enjoy the view to the see side. All of the team were smooth and cool and friendly. Some of the camper should be more considerate with the cleaness of the toilets. In some moments I got the feeling there were too many people on the camping place, especially for a 3-Star-Camping-Place but it was still harmonic… very harmonic, oh my gosh is that a wonderfull place
