Camping Carrara

It is a two-star hotel with an adjacent beach (which is very rare in these parts): the beach should be cleaned, but obviously, given the high number of permanent and seasonal residents which account, broadly, for 80-90% of the turnover, for management is fine as well. The toilets are not the best but there is worse around; average quality / price ratio for the service offered. Friendly and helpful staff. A few days can be done quietly (not in peak weeks if you want to enjoy the peace).

Quiet place to disconnect from the usual life, positive notes direct access to the free beach, a bar for breakfasts and various snacks and / or aperitifs, fresh bread and focaccia every morning and basic necessities available at the bar .... Hot shower 1 € for 3 minutes free cold shower. The bathrooms are not the best but perfect quality price in August paid € 6 per person plus € 18 for the camper pitch Overall it's okay if you don't have too many pretensions, I'll be back ?

I cannot understand all the negative reports. Wonderful campsite right by the sea with a beautiful free beach and a wonderful view of the mountains. Great campsite, very friendly people from the campsite management and very flexible and helpful in everything, pleasant atmosphere, absolutely clean sanitary facilities! A wonderful vacation by the sea!

It is not possible to call it camping, over the years the managers / owners have made and consented to make constructions that are not completely up to standard, starting from the width of the pitches, the distance between one pitch and another, (nothing in accordance with the law) and then end up in the tents ... and who knows what else. Constructions made with their permission ... not without their knowledge. Regulated as the managers of absurd things called them ... like gas cylinders to take out of the pitch ... but where if there is no space between one pitch and another ... under the head of what sleeps side by side ... so okay? Of beauty there is only the direct entrance to the sea without walking too many kilometers you are practically in the water. The price of the dilapidated structures is not at all in line with what they offer ... why ??? There is nothing, barely a bar that on occasion becomes a bar / restaurant ..... no entertainment for children, play area for children in a corner where there is nothing decent, no space to do a barbeque, not to mention de waifi ... completely obsolete things ... what to say about the rest ... nothing, indeed I am very disappointed by the people who camp there but above all by the management that has not been able in more than 60 years to say how things had to be done so as not to be out of the ordinary, but that they contributed to the collapse of camping carrara., I'm sorry I threw a lot of money and then found myself outside the gate ... no longer a permanent place because of these people who can't even manage a dog's kennel.

More than a camping site, it resembles a civil protection tent city. Poor organization. Much neglect. Poorly located toilets and showers, but overall clean. Good croissants from the bar. Very dirty beach in front of the campsite.

After spending 4 days in a bungalow for 4 people I can say that I was really satisfied with the campsite. Despite the low season and adverse weather conditions, there is no shortage of services. The brick bungalow has a bathroom with shower, gas stove, fenced veranda, comfortable and welcoming beds, presence of dishes, cutlery, glasses, pots, cutting board and gas lighter. I didn't see any bugs and the beach is really just a few steps away! You can reach many clubs on foot and the staff is very nice!

Simple rest area but in front of the beach honest price services to the bone but for those who really live the camper is fine so it is not a kind and very welcoming campsite, the lady

Camping Carrara is the ideal place to stay with the family in peace and tranquility. The campsite has an entrance directly to go to the beach. The staff is always kind and welcoming to everyone, it really feels like being with family. The bungalow is beautiful, welcoming and clean, inside you have everything you need for the kitchen, including: pots, plates, glasses, cutlery and even extra pillows in the closet and a blanket. The bar offers fresh brioches of the day every morning and a rich aperitif, as well as being well stocked with a mini market so you can shop on your doorstep without leaving the campsite. Surely if someone asked me where I would go back on vacation this would be the first place I would think of. Thanks for everything Camping Carrara.
