We chose this campsite due to high rating of reviews, however were left disappointed after we stayed there. First of all the prices are very inflated. You pay individually for tent, people staying, car. Total cost of 1 night, tent, car, 2 adults and a child £51.50 which easily compares with local prices of airB&B. Our pitch was not too far from the toilets and we could smell it. Staff was friendly. I wouldn’t visit again.

Pros: - beautiful seaview, - nice location for a tent between the trees, - clean facilities, - delicious 6€ pizza in the camping restaurant. Cons: - a bit difficult to pitch a tent on a rough ground, - actual lack of supermarket (the only possibility is the bar, but bar prices apply there).

Very nice site although steep to get too top pitches . Pool shuts for a couple of hours in afternoon when you mist need it but you don't have to where silly hats which is a plus for Italy. When it does open the queues are overwhelming and forget a sunshade as they battle to secure there brollies and beds which the towel up then disappear into pool or bar. The poolside bar is limited space and the food is average . The waitress speaks virtually no english but is very pleasant as does boss man.but he's always very cheery .The only only member if staff to wind me up is the guy with the long hair and ponytail . Very unfriendly and gave a few dirty looks of displeasure. Thinks he’s Casanova too with the young girls . The area is great for beach and a walk to harbour which is stunning. I would def go again.

Not sure where the negative reviews come from. Our visit for 5 days was amazing. The little fishing town 5 mins walk from the campsite had some of the best fish restaurants we have ever eaten at and the price was super cheap in comparison with the big cities around the area. The campsite itself had good facilities. Showers and toilet block were very clean. The pitches (we camped) were a little small however the views made up for this tenfold. Swimming pool is big and the bar staff were very friendly. Whilst most staff did not speak English we got by and they made ever effort to help. The restaurant, also by the pool, was excellent. Pizzas were home made and the pasta was fresh. We eat there a few times. One special highlight was the waiting staff who made a huge fuss of the children. One in particular played games with the kids and really made our visit special. I would highly recommend Campeggio Gianna.

Beautiful campsite with spectacular view. Good swimming pool. Only the paths are very steep. Many possibilities for hiking, also great for day trips to e.g. Pisa, Cinque Terry and Lucca . Tellaro is a charming village and only a 10 minute walk away.

Camping has everything that we wish for in a camping! Pros: + Beautiful location close to the sea and beautiful small village Tellago + Really good restaurant: open all day, even in morning for some nice coffee. The spaghetti allo scoglio is highly recommended, and also the pizza's are great. + They do have a very small shop with the basic necessities + Lovely camping places underneath the olive trees + Great and deep swimming pool with good sunbeds + Very good warm showers + Clean toilets with always sufficient toilet paper Cons: - Small places, we had a tent, but not all places are suited for caravans/campers - We could not make a reservation on short-term notice: first come first served principle is applied (we think!)

Beautiful, clean camping area on hillside close to the coast line. We had a small tent for 2 pers. with coastal view - perfect to start/end the day. Tents are very clean, built of wood and well equipped with power, fridge and A/C (if you need). Small sandy beach with nice waves to play in is a 10 min walk away. Good starting point for cinque terre (by boat).

The pitches for tents are amazing. Even though the camping is quite big, you cant tell once you're by your tent. Its really quiet and you only hear and see the sea (if the wind is right). The restaurant on the camping recommended, good food and friendly people. The shower facilities are pretty good (rainshowers, side and handshowers in every booth) but could use a proper clean. Its not that dirty, but I would prefer it cleaner. Overall we loved our stay here!
