★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to park your campervan (or car), while you visit the city of Florence. You can park overnight if required, and dump grey water and chemical toilet waste as well as refill with water. Be warned our camper is 7.2m (8 m including the bikes on the back) and it was tight to get past the boom gate and spin the next 2 corners as you enter the carpark. No such issues leaving as it allows more room. €15 /24h parking . Not perfect not a camp ground, but suitable for the average traveler.
Bus tickets on the corner Tabacchi store to the right of the entrance as you walk out. The bus stop for bus 11 takes you right across the city is from near the entrance of the car park €1.50. Avoid school periods because the bus is unbearably full.
