★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il castello di Calamandrana, privato, situato sulla parte alta del paese e circondato da un parco, è di origine medievale e presenta una planimetria irregolare con pareti sia in mattoni e pietra a vista che intonacate. Distrutto durante la guerra fra Asti e Alessandria nel XIII secolo, fu subito riedificato e poi rimaneggiato nel Settecento. Originari sono la Torre ottagonale, i muri orientali in pietra, il ponte levatoio.
The private castle of Calamandrana, located on the upper part of the town and surrounded by a park, is of medieval origin and has an irregular plan with both exposed brick and stone and plastered walls. Destroyed during the war between Asti and Alessandria in the thirteenth century, it was immediately rebuilt and then remodeled in the eighteenth century. The octagonal tower, the oriental stone walls, the drawbridge are original.
