★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo prenotato un mese prima ma si sono persi la prenotazione e non sono neanche riusciti a trovarci un posto! Persone poco educate e poco consigliate in quanto non si sono neanche degnati di un minimo di rispetto! E la cosa più grave è stata il più totale non interesse nel cercare una soluzione tipo rivedere le prenotazioni o propormi alternative.
 We booked a month in advance but they missed their reservation and couldn't even find a place! Uneducated and poorly advised people as they did not even deign a minimum of respect! And the most serious was the total lack of interest in looking for a solution such as reviewing reservations or proposing alternatives.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ci piacerebbe molto poter valutare la qualità del servizio proposto da Cala Elte ma, purtroppo, abbiamo avuto una pessima esperienza che ci proibisce di farlo. Abbiamo, infatti, prenotato una barca per il pomeriggio del 13 agosto, e la mattina del giorno stesso abbiamo chiesto conferma - tramite messaggio - della prenotazione, aspettandoci, in caso di condizioni avverse del mare, di ricevere risposta negativa. Invece, nonostante ci abbiano confermato la prenotazione, quando ci siamo presentati al noleggio (tre ore dopo) ci è stato fortemente sconsigliato dallo stesso personale di Cala Elte di uscire in mare, poiché era molto mosso e non sarebbe stato possibile nemmeno gettare l'ancora. Il personale, inoltre, ci ha riferito di essere già a conoscenza da tutto il giorno di queste condizioni negative, e che queste ultime sarebbero peggiorate. Il problema non è rappresentato dall'impossibilità di usufruire della barca, poiché può capitare che le condizioni del mare siano proibitive, ma dalla mancanza da parte del personale di una comunicazione tempestiva, soprattutto avendo dato loro la possibilità di avvisarci quando gli abbiamo scritto poche ore prima di presentarci.
We would very much like to be able to assess the quality of the service offered by Cala Elte but, unfortunately, we had a very bad experience that forbids us to do so. In fact, we have booked a boat for the afternoon of August 13th, and on the morning of the same day we asked for confirmation - by message - of the reservation, expecting us to receive a negative response in the event of adverse sea conditions. Instead, despite having confirmed the booking, when we showed up at the rental (three hours later) we were strongly advised against by the same staff of Cala Elte to go out to sea, because it was very rough and it would not have been possible to even throw the anchor . The staff also told us that they had been aware of these negative conditions all day long, and that these conditions would be worse. The problem is not represented by the impossibility of using the boat, since it can happen that the sea conditions are prohibitive, but from the lack by the staff of a timely communication, above all having given them the possibility to inform us when we wrote to them a few hours before introducing us.

Wir haben zwei sehr schöne und gut gewartete Boote gemietet und hatten damit viel Freude.
Vor der Abfahrt gab es eine ausführliche Einweisung.
Kann man zu 100 % empfehlen. Gute Lage direkt an einem kleinen Parkhaus
Very nice staff and great service at good prices.
We rented two very nice and well-maintained boats and had a lot of fun with them.
There was a detailed briefing before departure.
Can be 100% recommended. Good location right next to a small parking garage

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo prenotato circa due settimane fa per due barche, solo nella giornata di oggi siamo venuti a conoscenza che le barche a noi riservate sono state affittate ad altre persone. Dopo varie chiamate le risposte sono state che la colpa è stata la nostra , e che non c’era nessuna soluzione possibile all’errore fatto da loro. Biglietti per moneglia del treno già acquistati , nessuna soluzione trovata , oltre il danno anche la beffa . Pochissima serietà !!!
We booked about two weeks ago for two boats, only today we learned that the boats reserved for us were rented to other people. After several calls, the answers were that it was our fault, and that there was no possible solution to the mistake made by them. Tickets for moneglia of the train already purchased, no solution found, in addition to the damage also the hoax. Very little seriousness !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredibile come dopo esserci sentiti per telefono e aver successivamente prenotato su WhatsApp una barca e aver quindi organizzato l'intero weekend sulla base di questo. Mi ritrovi il giorno prima a scoprire che in realtà la mia barca non era stata affatto prenotata salvo poi dirmi che erroneamente era stato segnato un altro giorno (pur essendoci specificata la data per iscritto su WhatsApp). La cosa che mi ha più infastidito è stato il totale non interesse nel cercare una soluzione tipo rivedere le prenotazioni del giorno successivo o propormi alternative.
Incredible how after we felt on the phone and subsequently booked a boat on WhatsApp and then organized the entire weekend on the basis of this. I found myself the day before to find out that in reality my boat had not been booked at all except then to tell me that another day had been erroneously marked (although the date was specified in writing on WhatsApp). The thing that bothered me most was the total lack of interest in looking for a solution such as reviewing the reservations of the next day or proposing alternatives.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ purtroppo non molto positiva la nostra esperienza:
- gommone senza tendalino ( dal sito: "possibilità di scegliere tra ombra e sole grazie al grande tendalino")
-ancora praticamente inesistente...anzi a dire la verità ben due ancore che insieme non avrebbero tenuto neanche un pedalò...siamo dovuti scendere in apnea per incagliare l'ancora sul fondo tra i sassi. Ovviamente sul fondo sabbioso neanche a parlarne ... il gommone se ne andava per i fatti sui
-l'indicatore del carburante era guasto (peccato che non ce l'abbiano detto prima di partire) quindi, per essere sicuri, arrivati a Santa Margherita abbiamo rabboccato il serbatoio (16,00 euro)...e rientrati a Moneglia ci hanno "sgridato" perché avevamo fatto benzina in un altro porto... eh si "perchè negli altri porti mettono l'acqua mischiata alla benzina" ....
e per finire
- i comandi del motore si facevano " i fatti loro" il gommone accellerava e decellerava a suo piacimento
insomma...ci siamo goduti comunque la bella giornata al mare ma sinceramente con quello che abbiamo pagato ci aspettavamo qualcosa di più...giusto il minimo per navigare e ormeggiare in sicurezza.
unfortunately our experience is not very positive:
- dinghy without awning (from the site: "possibility to choose between shade and sun thanks to the large awning")
- still practically non-existent ... indeed to tell the truth two anchors that together would not have held even a pedal boat ... we had to go free diving to run the anchor on the bottom among the stones. Obviously on the sandy bottom not even talking about it ... the dinghy went away for the facts about
-the fuel gauge was out of order (it's a pity they didn't tell us before leaving) so, to be sure, when we arrived in Santa Margherita we topped up the tank (16.00 euros) ... and back in Moneglia we were "scolded" because we had refueled in another port ... oh yes "because in other ports they put water mixed with petrol" ....
and finally
- the engine controls were "their business" the boat accelerated and decelerated as it pleased
well ... we still enjoyed the beautiful day at the sea but honestly with what we paid we expected something more ... just the minimum to navigate and moor safely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yes. Go here, rent a boat, do yourself a favor and have the best day touring Cinque Terre by water. Park all day at the lot up the street (signs) for €10. We paid €80 plus another 43 for 27 liters of fuel. The staff speak little English but it's good enough to tell you the basics. Be prepared to leave behind a form of ID as collateral for the boat. Under 40HP no license is required. We docked a couple times for beer and gelato in Vernazza and Montersso, picnicked under the shade of our canopy and swam to shore to be the only people on a beach. Docking at many of the towns is difficult/impossible as the require you to cut the engine and our boat was too big, and too many swimmers to paddle to shore against the swells with me and my wife. We met many people while on the water - locals curious where we came from, and other travelers who wanted a lift. One of the best days of our trip! Thank you Cala Elte!
