My friend doesn't drink coffee but she liked it.
If you go inside, there is alot of pastries you can try.
I just ordered tiramisu but I regret I didn't check inside.
Worth to check this place.
Service was not nice tho.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place in the main square of Trieste. We ordered a spritz and some special espresso, they were all very good, especially the espresso with cream and nougat cream. Along with the spritz they gave us chips, peanuts and some appetizers, all for just 11€. Very good, cheap and with a wonderful view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maybe best place for breakfast and coffee in Trieste! Try the french one or the Italian and ask for some extra bread. All types of breakfast have coffee and water so don’t order something extra. Fair enough the price for Italy. Try to come before 10:30 to enjoy natural shade.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely and busy restaurant in the early morning. The staff were respectful and friendly service, the menu is a full Italian but it was very understandable over they’re difficult with English language but fortunately, one of their staff who can speak English. Lovely service.
Latte coffee and chocolate were delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff and even though there was a queue to get inside it went really quickly. The decor is definitely an interesting part of this place - you do feel as if the time stopped around the 1900s.
There's an enormous variety of coffee, tea and a lot of cakes to choose from.
The cake I got, which was all about chocolate, was amazing, but the sweet coffee wasn't the best pairing. I do recommend taking some nice tea with a cake or just sweet coffee on its own.
By looking at other tables I think that if I ever were here again, I would go for some spritz because the mini sandwiches you get with it looked delicious
