★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Locale normalissimo,ma prezzi davvero senza senso. Costano meno altri locali vista lago. 2 euro un caffè e 3 euro un orzo. Barista non particolarmente gentile. Uno di quei classici locali italiani che spennano i turisti. Non ci torneremo.
 Very normal place, but really meaningless prices. They cost less other rooms overlooking the lake. 2 euros a coffee and 3 euros a barley. Barista not particularly kind. One of those classic Italian places that pluck tourists. We won't be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mah! Un po' caro per quello che offre. Non male la bruschetta, abbondante e ben condita. Non sono così i sandwich, meglio quelli dell'autogrill. La bresaola non è male, ma il piatto è presentato privo di guarnizioni. Ottimo invece il tagliere di salumi. La birra alla spina è normale. Quelle in bottiglia sono di marche da supermercato. Insomma, a Stresa si può trovare di meglio!
Mah! A little pricey for what it offers. Not bad the bruschetta, abundant and well seasoned. The sandwiches are not so, better those of the autogrill. Bresaola is not bad, but the dish is presented without seals. The cold cuts platter is excellent. The draft beer is normal. Those in the bottle are from supermarket brands. In short, in Stresa you can find better!

Personale gentile e simpatico, Abbiamo provato diversi cocktail (in due giorni) ed erano tutti ottimi. Le margheritine (dolci tipici di Stresa) da portare a casa sono un must.
Cozy restaurant in the heart of Stresa, with tables on the square overlooking the lake.
Nice and nice staff, We tried different cocktails (in two days) and they were all great. The margheritine (typical Stresa sweets) to take home are a must.

Not bad aperitif, very good quality and cheap, given the prices in Stresa. Nice because it looks like (but I think it is in all respects) a historic place. Enjoyable

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La più antica pasticceria di Stresa, sita in p.zza Matteotti di fianco al Municipio, adiacente alla passeggiata sul lungo lago. Ambiente sobrio ed elegante, arredamento classico, quasi ottocentesco, sembra uscita da un racconto di Fogazzaro. I titolari sono cortesi e cordiali, i prodotti dolciari venduti sia quelli secchi sia quelli freschi sono di ottima qualità e ben presentati. I prezzi sono leggermente superiori alla norma ma accettabili considerando la location.
The oldest pastry shop in Stresa, located in Piazza Matteotti next to the Town Hall, adjacent to the promenade along the lake. Sober and elegant environment, classic furniture, almost nineteenth century, it seems out of a story by Fogazzaro. The owners are courteous and friendly, the confectionery products sold both dry and fresh are of excellent quality and well presented. The prices are slightly above the norm but acceptable considering the location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non mi ha fatto impazzire,il thè discreto, io lo prendo senza zucchero e va bene ma se uno lo volesse zuccherato non era disponibile una bustina di zucchero,abbiamo perso anche qualche biscottino, mi sono sembrati molto dozzinali,zucchero a velo sopra che non gradisco ,troppo raffinato come anche la farina che mi è sembrata della zero zero, sempre secondo il mio pensiero. Il locale è carino e il personale gentile e disponibile,
It didn't drive me crazy, discreet tea, I take it without sugar and that's fine, but if one wanted it sweetened, a sachet of sugar wasn't available, we even lost a few biscuits, they seemed very cheap, powdered sugar on top of it. I like it, too refined as the flour that seemed to me to be zero zero, always according to my thoughts. The restaurant is nice and the staff are friendly and helpful.
