If you're traveling, get a meal there and then take something to go...because you're not going to find an option that beats Caffe Bistro Mastai. Seriously. They've got a great selection of sandwiches and pastries to choose from and everything tastes as good as it looks! Truly. Great experience...great food...great time here! Cheers!

I suggest their other shop on Via Consoli Chiavennaschi (4 mins walk) for breakfast, but this one is perfect for Italian aperitivo. Great for tourists, bang in the centre of Chiavenna, with terraces with mountain view.
