 Honestly, both the granita and the ice cream seemed to me the chemical ones of normal bars all over Italy…. Nothing to do with the Sicilian slushes that I ate in other places

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 'Ci siamo scialati', in siciliano si dice così quando qualcosa soddisfa perfettamente i tuoi desideri. Il B&B presso cui abbiamo alloggiato era convenzionato con questo bar e dopo due giorni eravamo grandi amici. Abbiamo provato caffè, cappuccini, ginseng, i cornetti, fantastici, appena sfornati, molto pieni di crema. Vi straconsiglio quello al pistacchio! I ragazzi al bancone e tutto lo staff molto amichevoli, gentili, sempre sorridebti. Poi la location è straordinaria! I tavoli a settembre erano fuori, sulla piazza, proprio di fronte al Duomo di Marsala. Non so davvero se ci sia modo migliore di iniziare la giornata!
'We scialati', in Sicilian we say this when something perfectly satisfies your desires. The B&B we stayed at had an agreement with this bar and after two days we were great friends. We tried coffee, cappuccinos, ginseng, croissants, fantastic, freshly baked, very full of cream. I highly recommend the pistachio one! The guys at the counter and all the staff very friendly, kind, always smiling. Then the location is extraordinary! The tables in September were outside, on the square, just in front of the Cathedral of Marsala. I really don't know if there is a better way to start the day!
