Delicious and good service. I ate: - bread with mozerella & anchovies. Great! - Carbonara. AMAZING - the kind of stellar pasta dish I dreamt about before coming to Rome. Really good people watching if it's warm enough to eat outside. Reasonably priced.

Fantastic ristorante directly across from Villa D'este - if you're hungry after spending the day at the water fountain gardens, this is the place to stop for a bite! (Or if you're like us, a glass a wine before the fountains too!). Paolo helped us tremendously, we can't thank him enough! He also recommended fantastic wines based exactly on what we described - I can't wait to return here with my whole family!

Took my family here after viewing the gardens at the Villa, and was unbelievably impressed with the quality of the food and wait staff! We had pizza and some apps and a great bottle of Red recommended by the staff! The wait staff even went so far as to remake one of our orders after we clearly botched the order attempting to order in Italian., Even after I insisted on paying for the wasted pizza, the Cafe staff refused. A definite must when in Tivoli.

Nice spot but the food wasn't amazing. Had one pasta and tomato sauce - it was salty and the pasta whilst cooked well wasn't fresh. The house wine was delicious though - and went really well with the climate / ambiance (e.g. was tasty and didn't leave me feeling wobbly for my walk around the villa). The service was slow and inconsistent - the waiting staff didn't bring things in a timely manner (like cutlery or water). Overall a 3.6 from me.

A great stop in AC on a much needed hot day. Food was pretty good. Bread was really stale and it was hard to order another beer. I think it was a very convenient stop for us after visiting villa D’Este. I didn’t hate it but was not overly excited over it.

THE best lunch we had in Rome. You must try the mozzarella cheese, we had it fresh from the same day. The pasta is fantastic (fresh and local) and the veal is very well done. Don’t let the location fool you, it’s a family owned, authentic restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

An awesome place to grab a bite after (or before) visiting the Villa d'Este just across the street! Very friendly staff in a typical Italian place. I had the Bruschetta with Mozarella and anchovies with a side salad which were delicious, as you can expect from a great Italian restaurant. Prices are quite low.

Zero star review. Do not be fooled by the fancy exterior and the quirky decor. This cafe restaurant is ideally located opposite the entrance to the Villa D’Este. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Spaghetti Carbonara made with Penne Pasta ??? And I ordered the fettuccine with mushroom SAUCE. I received a bowl of cold salty pasta with a few tasteless mushrooms and no sauce. The Carbonara was also over salted. So the bill comes .... €30 for two bowls of €12 Pasta. Tourist trap ALERT. We were charged £2 EACH for the stale bread that we did not ask for. And €2 for the TAP water. When we questioned this the friendliness switch was turned off. The staff became rude and arrogant. The toilet door also did not lock and there was no toilet paper.
