Service extremely unfriendly. Half of the things on the menu were not available and it was comparably expensive!

Love the coffee here. Nice and clean place. Extremely friendly and flexible staff and owners. The sweets and granitas are really nice. Airconditioned in summer.

Stopped just for a spritz before dinner. Surly waiter who was not even remotely friendly. And then they add a 20% tip onto the bill. Tip for what?! Rude service? Great. View of the cathedral is only good thing but lots of places have that.

Granita ok. Prices a bit high. But don’t stop here - they automatically add a 20% tip. Nowhere is this written. Move on!

The bar best benefit is position. The waitress broke bottle with fanta in front of my daugter and didn't say even sorry, they didn't offer us diffrent table, glass was everywhere.. Nothing. Food was good but nothing special, this place is really disappointment.

Typical tourist trap. Manufactured arancini, caprese salad without a basil leaf in sight. Bland cherry tomatoes. Didn’t even manage to serve three salads and two bruschettone at the same time. Will charge 20% of your bill for service. Maybe the drinks are ok, but don’t eat here.

Lousy, dopey staff can't be bothered because the fixed 20% service charge means they don't have to. We spotted the 20% service charge but had already ordered water. The waiter asked large or small? We ordered large. The waiter asked if we wanted anything else so we asked for a menu (as we are not psychic). So we got a menu. Then another waiter came out with a small bottle. My wife said we ordered a large one. He said Ah and went inside and got us the correct one. Then rather than both taking turns swigging out of a litre bottle we asked if there were any glasses and he said Ah and went inside and got us two disposable plastic beakers. The other tables got glass glasses. So we ordered two different bruschettas. I went inside to the loo and came out went to the bar and asked for two glasses. The barkeeper looked confused as if I was trying to con him out of something. I explained we already had water. So he looked confused again, as if, why do you need glasses if you already have water. So I said can we have 2 glasses (like those ones where I was pointing) with ice. Ah, he said and got me one glass. So I said two glasses. Ah, he said. And I finally got 2 glasses. I know it sounds a bit snobby but if I am paying 20% as I normally have tap water I expect something for it. The bruschettas were excellent. But when we finished our empty plates were just sitting there in front of us for five minutes until we left even though there are 4 waiters just standing around chatting with not that many customers (3 tables including ours). And for the 20% you still have to go inside and pay at the cash desk. The toilets were clean but no toilet seat in either the mens or ladies - which is normal in Sicilly. The view on the corner tables have a good view of the glorious cathedral which slightly compensates / explains for lacking service. The service is a lot more attentive to non tourists even though it is a tourist hot spot. 2 points for nice simple food and the view if you get one of the 4 tables with a view.

We had (w. my wife) big apero and aperol spriz sicilian way. Just great and absolutely lovely welcome and service. In particular the caponata and the porc in gel. We certainly will riturn .. inchallah.
