Fornisce ampia varietà di assistenza, da accompagnamento a visite e commissioni, all esecuzione di Igiene al domicilio a permettere al care giver un ora di relax sostituendolo nell assistenza a molto altro. Le OSS svolgono al meglio la propria professione anche se la burocrazia e la politica limitano ancora troppo gli interventi che potrebbero essere molti di più e erogati a molti più utenti. A social support service useful for allowing people with physical or mental disabilities to continue their lives at home by postponing or avoiding institutionalization. It provides a wide variety of assistance, from accompaniment to visits and commissions, to the execution of home hygiene to allow the caregiver an hour of relaxation, replacing it with assistance to much more. The OSS best perform their profession even if the bureaucracy and politics still limit too many interventions that could be many more and provided to many more users.
