★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The below average ice cream itself might deserve 2.5 stars, even though it lacks flavor. But the fact that the lady behind the counter automatically serves the most expensive “extra grande” for 4,5€ (?!) when typically you would either get a medium-sized one (if you want 3 flavors) or be asked which size you want is really not ok. She puts on a nice show, but is she kind? On top of that the size of their extra grande is more like a medium one in other gelaterie. Not recommended. Rip-off.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best little gelateria in Pienza! My husband and I stumbled upon this place as we were walking around the town and I'm so glad we went in. The owner Niccola was such a pleasure to talk with! He creates such unique combinations of gelato and really enjoys his customers. I had a kiwi and spinach gelato, which sounds gross I know but it was so tasty! Niccola let us try any and all flavors and I'm glad he did because we would never have ordered otherwise. Stop in and meet Niccola and see what new creations he has!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have never had better pistachio in my life. Another flavour was a combination of a carrot, orange and lemon, which was also good. Besides that, they had very special flavours like watermelon, peach, peach with mint. For four scoops we paid 5,2€ or something like this but it was worth. You can also get smoothies and some other natural drinks. The place was crowded. What I missed is a sitting area where you can eat the ice cream in relaxed way.

The shop is so colourful, and the lady in there is so friendly, you can try every flavour before you choose which to go for! I have been multiple times and always recommend it to visitors looking for something refreshing when visiting Pienza!

Ice cream was quite good. At the time of visit Buon Gusto Gelateria had a 4,7 rating. We would rate it 4,4. It was a delicious, but we had more creamy and intense ice cream in Florence

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing gelato. Location is hidden but do check it out. Best ever we tasted in Italy from chef Nicola. We had pistachio flavor in many places in Rome. This one was the best with pure nutty flavors. We tried more than 10 flavor - loved it all! Pure bliss! ❤️
