★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To start my review is like to address the Elephant in the room, the Wellness Centre. There isn't one. But they state Wellness in their title I hear you ask. Yes they do. But they don't have a Spa, gym or Swimming pool. I'd personally consider all of the above as a minimum. I'd driven a fair distance and was so looking forward to a massage. Fat chance. The only explanation I can think of for Wellness is that you can't help but to get fitter because of the number of flights of steps within the complex.
I'd gone from our room to the bar next to the reception for a drink and back. I lost count of the steps and passageways on my trip. I certainly needed a drink afterwards. It is a maze. I felt like Theseus and needed Adriane's ball of yarn to find my way out. As I saw no one in my Epic trip there could well be a Minotaur down there.
That all being said, the room was lovely. It had a beautiful view of the nearby village of Picerno in the hill. The room was also large and had a very nice decor and bed. The bathroom was a lot bigger than some hotel rooms that I've stayed in. It was also really good. The monsoon shower head felt wonderful. Missing from the room was a bath and a drying towel rack.
Finish building the Wellness Centre or remove the expectation from the title and is star it 4 1/2 or 5.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I mean WOW. I was not expecting walking into something so amazing and beautiful in the middle of nowhere! Such a magical and relaxing place. The room was perfect and the views of Picerno were very nice. The staff at the hotel is something to be really proud of, attentive and very well educated. The restaurant at the hotel is also amazing. I will for sure come back!
