Il bosco è raggiungibile con una passeggiata di un paio di chilometri su sentiero facile e ben tracciato. Al suo interno dei sentieri in pietra vi guideranno in un percorso ad anello che attraversa antichi esemplari di tasso, acero, faggio e agrifoglio. Consigliato percorrerlo. Numerose le specie animali osservabili a occhio nudo. Molti gli scenari da set cinematografico. Una meraviglia. Di particolare bellezza il contesto che lo circonda, ricco di varietà Floro-Faunistiche. Suggestivo il sottobosco dove i muschi che ricoprono le varie rocce presenti, conferiscono all'ambiente un meraviglioso aspetto fiabesco. Il Bosco della Tassita Located at 1240 meters above sea level in the Moglia district in the municipality of Caronia, it is a forest dating back to the Tertiary era of "TAXUS Baccata" existing in Sicily only on the Nebrodi and extends for about 50 hectares. Of particular beauty is the context that surrounds it, rich in flora and fauna varieties. The undergrowth is evocative where the mosses that cover the various rocks present give the environment a wonderful fairytale aspect.

Il cammino è facile e tracciato da un sentiero fatto in pietra locale ed è tenuto molto bene, è facile da visitare e non è una lunga passeggiata. È incredibilmente piacevole soffermarsi ad ammirare i vari Faggi e Aceri giganti, i Tassi scuri e contorti, e godersi la grande pace che denota il parco. Suggestivo visivamente per il muschio che unifica rocce squadrate e alberi monumentali. È anche presente una fonte naturale fresca per bere. Decisamente consigliato. Definitely unique park in Sicily for the presence of the last remaining Rates in the whole region. The path is easy and traced by a path made of local stone and is very well kept, it is easy to visit and it is not a long walk. It is incredibly pleasant to pause to admire the various giant Beeches and Maples, the dark and twisted Rates, and enjoy the great peace that the park denotes.
