Sono cresciuto qui dentro, ho trascorso 7 anni bellissimi, praticando pugilato ad ottimi livelli e avendo la fortuna di allenarmi con campioni come i fratelli Branco, Fragomeni, Aurino, Marsili, Sarritzu, pugili che, nonostante quello che la gente possa pensare, si allenavano volentieri con te e ti consigliavano come il miglior fratello maggiore possa fare. Adesso passi li davanti e trovi mezzo pugile, che ha messo i guanti l'altro ieri e già ti guarda storto, arrogante e forte dei suoi tatuaggi da "matto". Il pugilato è un' arte e ti insegna anche a stare al mondo e a rispettare gli altri. Non a guardarli dall'alto al basso. Dispiace anche per gli allenatori, che conosco, sono pieni di valori e, per loro, questa palestra meriterebbe di tornare ai bei tempi di una volta.
My heart aches to see it like this. I grew up here, I spent 7 wonderful years, practicing boxing at excellent levels and being lucky enough to train with champions like the Branco brothers, Fragomeni, Aurino, Marsili, Sarritzu, boxers who, despite what people may think, trained gladly with you and advised you how the best big brother can do. Now you walk past them and you find half a boxer, who put on his gloves the day before yesterday and is already looking at you crookedly, arrogant and strong with his "crazy" tattoos. Boxing is an art and it also teaches you to be in the world and to respect others. Not to look down on them. I'm also sorry for the coaches, whom I know, they are full of values and, for them, this gym deserves to go back to the good old days.
