Il Lagorai offre begli scorci e una montagna diversa lontana dalle mete più frequentate. Nice tidy and clean bivouac, along the path, about halfway, a sign asks you to bring the already cut wood up to make fire. The Lagorai offers beautiful views and a different mountain far from the most popular destinations.

La stufa scalda bene e il bivacco è isolato perfettamente quindi anche di notte la temperatura tende a scendere davvero poco. Very nice and tidy, there is everything you need to leave clean. Nove posti letto disposti di 3 in 3 a castello tutti dotati di comodi materassini. La stufa funge anche da fornello. La legna viene portata mediante il sentiero che in maniera abbastanza agevole sale da Valga Valmaggiore dai viandanti che voglio occupare il bivacco. Pezzi di legna già pronti per il trasporto sono presenti lungo il sentiero e cartelli ricordano di portarli al bivacco. Sorgente presente a 5 min di cammino dal bivacco. Bello il luogo, unica pecca bivacco abbastanza affollato. Da Malga Valmaggiore è raggiungibile dal comodo sentiero sopracitato, ma allungando notevolmente è possibile raggiungerlo mediante altri due sentieri. Personalmente ho percorso il sentiero "Don Battistin", molto bello ma sconsigliato perchè estremamente esposto e pericoloso. Sono presenti due letti a castello per un totale di 6 persone che vi possono dormire. Sul retro, fonte di acqua potabile e all'esterno alcuni tavoli con panche. Beautiful bivouac in full Lagorai, in a strategic position, very well maintained. There are two bunk beds for a total of 6 people who can sleep there. L	Leonardo Olivi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il bivacco è molto bello ed ha 9 posti letto. Si può usare una stufa per cucinare e scaldare l'ambiente e c'è un tavolo spazioso. Purtroppo l'ho trovato abbastanza sporco (briciole per terra, pavimento non spazzato, briciole sui eletto) per colpa di chi non ha cura di questi luoghi ed evidentemente non vive la montagna nel modo corretto - sono bastati dieci minuti, assieme ad un amico, per dargli un aspetto più decoroso. Il panorama è bellissimo ed è un crocevia per diverse escursioni. Se si arriva da Valmaggiore, poco sotto il bivacco c'è una fonte d'acqua (da non scambiare per un lavandino dove pulire le pentole!! If you arrive from Valmaggiore, just below the bivouac there is a water source (not to be mistaken for a sink where to clean the pots! As I happened to see)

È un ottimo punto di riparo, per circa 9 persone. In linea con la rustica semplicità montana, i suoi arredi sono costituiti da un tavolone completo di panche, appunto brandine per circa 9 posti, ma soprattutto è installata una comoda ed essenziale stufa economica. Bisogna comunque avere un occhio di riguardo per la legna, infatti bisogna ricordarsi di portarsene qualche ciocco per poter usufruire appunto della stufa, ma anche per poterne lasciare per gli escursionisti successivi. La storia di questo caratteristico manufatto e soprattutto l'originalità del suo nome, risale al 1974 in ricordo di Paolo e Nicola, che abitavano a Predazzo e che purtroppo il 30 giugno sono morti sul massiccio del Sella. Negli anni successivi è stato manutentato, portandolo al bellissimo stato odierno.
