- shrimp plate
- tagliati of beef strips
- macaroni alla norma

The staff are second to none exceptional.
For my wife who has Parkinson's their toilet facilities are the best in Sicily ( having spent the last 9 years holidaying over there ) great food great people

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Google search for Taormina breakfast led me here, after brushing away the hotels. Although I usually try to eat meals when traveling that approximate meals eaten by the people who live in the country I’m in, I’ve never shared the enthusiasm of many denizens of the Mediterranean basin for the breakfast of coffee and a cigarette. Ordinarily, I would not order something called an English breakfast in Sicily, but I was so tired of eating sweet things for breakfast that when I saw the photo on the menu affixed to the wall on Corso Umberto I, I ordered it. You can see what I received in photo, rather at variance with the illustration of the broiled mushrooms and candied canned beans, but I really liked it. The beans that they served me were savory not sweet, the broiling of the tomato made removal of the skin easy, the smoked bacon was delicious, and I ate more lettuce for breakfast today than I have in my life heretofore. The service was attentive and there was no television. Someone just lit up a cigarette behind me, and a star fell from the review.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stumbled upon this restaurant after reading various reviews of lots of restaurants that were alas shut for the winter season. However this was an excellent find. We started with Sicilian antipasto platter. We were given a free bruschetta first. All the items on the platter were delicious. We followed with pasta with tuna, capers, olives and tomatoes, and the seafood risotto. Both were well presented and delicious. We shared a cassata for dessert. The owner offered us a free taste of their home made almond wine. It was served chilled and was an excellent finish to a wonderful meal. We also had a glass of tap beer and water. All up Euro 63.50 and well worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant was completely empty when we came. We decided for it because of the design and decoration. The service was super nice from the beginning. The food was amazing and really tasty. The portion size was sufficient for us. The waiters were very nice until the closing hours and were keen on offering other courses or wine. The only thing we didnt understand was two different pasta sizes while one was double the size as the other pasta dish. Both very tasty though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did not feel very welcome here... waitress threw just menu in front of us... took the plates away before we were even finished eating our arancini.. food was good but service.... not really.... town of taormina is nice to walk through... lots of tourist even in the off season end of September
