★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can honestly say this is THE BEST place I’ve been to eat in Italy. Friendly customer service. Amazing food. Great drinks. Whimsical plating. I’ve never felt so taken care of at a restaurant. I live in the U.S. I’ve never even been to a place there that cares so much about how you like everything and what they can do to help make your experience perfect. I have not found one single bad thing about this place. They go above and beyond here and honestly should be on the Michelin star restaurant list.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To all those who think it's a bistro I must say you are wrong because it's really an excellent restaurant with a relaxed but elegant interior design. The atmosphere that welcomes you is lovely....small round tables with cozy lamps on.In the background you hear sweet music. The cuisine is innovative..... typical regional ingredients cooked using modern fantasy. The result is: very delicious recipes that look like paintings in artistic dishes where, more than the taste, you must appreciate the sight! Finally...what strikes you most... is the welcoming service from the staff who are kind, friendly and helpful making you feel at home !This restaurant is strongly advised to all those who want to spend an unforgettable evening in Sorrento!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Welcome to a hidden treasure 10 minutes from the “tourist fuzz” in the heart of Sorrento. If you usually prefer fine dining and Michelin recommend restaurants with the sign of bib gourmand (close to one star) - this is the place to dine. The entrance and smart in-fashion interior makes you feel that the owner put his heart in to making a clean, comfortable and light atmosphere. With the open kitchen solution you see all the ingredients that the place has to offer, and if you are lucky enough to get a seat in front of the kitchen, you can see and feel the passion the chefs put in to giving you an magical food experience. The personnel is super friendly and service minded, and they do everything to make you feel comfortable.
It was a highly pleasant surprise that once we sat down to our table, we all got some warm and crunchy compliments from the chef, while we studied the menu of whine and food. The one definate thing to eat here is the chef’s specialty, T-bone steak. They have several different types of T-bone from different areas. For a starter, we highly recommend the cheese and ham plate, the motzarella and ham plate, or the light smoked Carpaccio. They are all worth the food experience, although you should ask about the sizes of the portions before you order not to get stuffed before the main meal. Personally, I’m not a big fan of desserts. They are often very heavy and too sweet. However, not the desserts of this Bistro, they are light as clouds, and they are not too sweet for those who prefer salty snacks instead of chocolate. Anyhow, the chef will give you several surprises, but I will not spoil them all here.
The wine list is also impressive, they have an own cellar, and the personnel gives good wine-pairing recommendations according to your taste and budget. We will definitely miss this place, and our friends from Milan said that this is one of the best places they have dined. There is always something that is wrong with most restaurants, either the personnel is dishonest, or the interior is out of fashion, maybe they have good wine, but the food is terrible. Not this place. It’s definitely worth the walk (or drive) out from the Sorrento “tourist fuss” down town, and you will not regret taking the trip. The best food experience in Italy so far, and to reasonable prices. Thank you for giving us an unforgettable and highly surprising food experience. Grazie Mille.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Away from the touristic trails of gorgeous Sorrento tou shall receive a warm welcome in a resolutely modern interior architecture with open kitchen.
The very attentive service includes amuse-bouche upfront & another amuse-bouche prior to dessert & complementary Limoncello to finish a meal that was not just great, but fabulous.
Large bread selection!
You definitely come here for the in-house dry-aged meats; but the wine list is impressive as well and recommendations are well suited. No salad on the menu but the « of course you can have a salad » was delicious, with fresh local Fiore di Buffalo, and certainly not less appreciated a delicious and artistically multi-layered beef carpaccio, being as generously served as it is uniquely prepared & presented. Our Main, the Rib-eye Tomahawk steak was a steal and cooked to medium perfection and recooked one more time for my sweetheart who likes it rather well done.
….and the desserts deserve an extra mention. Artisanal hand-crafted right in front of us.
Let’s not forget to mention they have a pick-up and drive-home service that is totally complementary !
A place to rejoice, to remember and to recommend…and hopefully one day to return to! Mille grazie!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service, excellent wine selection, excellent Italian food, excellent environment. What else do you need more for a fantastic meal? Passionate chefs, the dishes are well thought through, they were homemade cooked to perfection with a amazing flavor combination. Carpaccio, wagyu beef pasta, own tiramisu interpretation. Would definitely return to this great restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will start by saying this…Bistro Sorrento was SO good that my wife & I dined there TWICE on our honeymoon just a week ago. Away from the crowds of Sorrento this family owned establishment was one of the highlights of our trip. Firstly, the owner of the restaurant Pasquale picked up my wife & I at our hotel. Yes you read that correctly, we did not need to call a taxi or driver, the owner will come and pick you up. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated. Being from NJ it was wonderful to be in a setting with a modern feel of a NYC steakhouse but yet still feel at home with Pasquale and his family. His son is the lead chef and now let’s get to the good stuff…The Food. The first evening we dined there we tried the tasting menu with some vino that Pasquale recommended. Each course was excellent but the highlight was the homemade meat ravioli in a three tomato sauce. We never had anything like it before and are still talking about it. The second evening we dined there we went more traditional going À la carte. Finished off our final meal in Sorrento with a beautiful bone in rib-eye. Both evenings Bistro Sorrento gives you some homemade Limoncello and beautifully presented desserts. Lastly, if picking you up isn’t convenient enough, Pasquale will also drive you back home. I mean it doesn’t get any better and no where will you find this type of service. I cannot recommend Bistro Sorrento enough and it’s a must visit if you are staying in Sorrento. Thank you again Pasquale and family!!! —The Brady’s
