★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had two superb evening meals at Berzitello during our recent stay in Roma - on both occasions expertly served by Gigi who was extremely polite, helpful and efficient! The food was perfect - delicious pasta and excellent crisp pizzas with fresh toppings. I would particularly recommend the house red and white wine and the steak! We will return. Highly recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrific experience, one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever sat down at.
We had Christmas reservations here as a casual slow place to enjoy our last dinner in Rome before heading home. The restaurant had sent us the Christmas menu the night before.
When we decided to order a pizza as an appetizer we were told pizzas weren’t available. We ordered something else and the next thing I know another table is being delivered a pizza.
The servers proceeded to be extremely condescending toward my wife and I when we questioned them over it.
Lastly, we had already ordered appetizers we tried to go ahead and eat them. They were entirely inedible, the suppli was as dry as a saltine cracker, disgusting. The wine list was criminally bad and offered many bottles that averaged less than $5 per bottle, being offered at over 25 euros.
Avoid at ALL costs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely restaurant with exceptional service. All dishes prepared swiftly without fuss and the whole dining experience was relaxing and calming. Our pasta and pizza were delicious and we returned to try meat and seafood dishes with excellent results! Our server (young chap) was brilliant and totally ‘on it’, welcoming our return and happy to arrange specific dishes as required. Strongly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found this place by chance when exploring near our AirBnB on our last day in Rome, 4yrs ago. We wish we had found it much sooner and made sure it was our first and last stop on our trip this April. All their ingredients are super fresh and pasta made in house. The meats were fresh and kosher, if kosher is important to you. My wife swears their Cacio e Pepe is the best she’s had anywhere in Italy! The service was always amazing. Almost every visit Rifat was our waiter. He was always very friendly and accommodating. We cannot wait to visit again on our next trip!
