Diego Bernardo, imprenditore che opera con attenzione e dedizione assoluta al rispetto dell'ambiente. Nell'intervista che ebbi modo di fargli, una cosa su tutte mi colpì: la ricerca metodica, competente e ...oserei dire quasi spasmodica (per la meticolosità che ci mette in ogni fase del suo lavoro) delle soluzioni ottimali per assicurare l'uscita del prodotto a norma di legge, spinto spontaneamente da amore incommensurabile per la salvaguardia del creato e della salute. Mi colpirono anche i "rimproveri" duri e decisi fatti contro ipotetici operatori irrispettosi delle norme esistenti. Mi piace ricordare questo "insegnamento" che ricavo dalle sue immancabili raccomandazioni...: ogni volta che vado a mangiare una pizza, la prima cosa che chiedo non è che tipo di pomodoro o di olio che usa il pizzaiolo. No. Io chiedo, prima di ogni cosa, se la legna usata per la cottura è garantita e certificata. La pizza deve essere buona, non c'è dubbio, ma prima di ogni cosa io devo pensare alla mia salute e a quella dei miei cari e dei miei amici con i quali vado a passare un po' di allegria.
