★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La parte migliore di Amalfi è fatta di vicoli stretti bianchissimi, quasi cunicoli che uniscono le varie case e al tempo stesso sono scavati nelle loro mura. Vediamo il cartello per il cimitero e, affascinati dal dedalo di anfratti, iniziamo a salire i 400 scalini. Il cimitero era già chiuso, ma la vista è magnifica, abbiamo parlato con un anziano residente che ci ha raccontato di come, fino a due anni fa, tutti gli abitanti andassero a piedi con i loro carichi giornalieri fin quassù.
Adesso c’è un ascensore parzialmente funzionante, scavato nella roccia: percorre 78m in 40 secondi! È collegato ad una galleria che da Atrani (parcheggio) viene in centro ad Amalfi.
 The best part of Amalfi is made up of very white, narrow alleys, almost burrows that connect the various houses and at the same time they are dug into their walls. We see the sign for the cemetery and, fascinated by the maze of ravines, we begin to climb the 400 steps. The cemetery was already closed, but the view is magnificent, we talked to an elderly resident who told us how, until two years ago, all the inhabitants went on foot with their daily loads up here.
Now there is a partially working elevator carved into the rock: it runs 78m in 40 seconds! It is connected to a tunnel that from Atrani (parking lot) comes to the center of Amalfi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Это скорее всего, наилучший панорамный вид на Амальфитанское побережье и город. Не надо бояться преодолеть все эти ступени и вид превзойдет все ожидания. В декабре совсем мало желающих совершить этот путь, поэтому можно будет сделать потрясающие фотографии, не опасаясь большого количества туристов. Однозначно рекомендую.
This is probably the best panoramic view of the Amalfi coast and city. There is no need to be afraid to overcome all these steps and the view will surpass all expectations. In December, there are very few people who want to make this journey, so you can take stunning photos without fear of a large number of tourists. I definitely recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's closed on Tuesdays so only 3 stars as we never got in... but a good walk of a few hundred steps to get up there from Amalfi and from there you can walk down into the next town Atrani. Attached a photo of opening times...
