★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thoroughly disappointing. This beach, when you can eventually find space not sectioned off for bar use only, is truly revolting. The sand is littered, and the sea has a cast array of unhygienic refuse. One popular guidebook rates this beach as the 4th beat in Sicily. Having been to many Sicilian beaches, I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, this beach is the worse. Go anywhere else but here.
