★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Di piccole dimensioni e posto dietro alla chiesa; visitabile senza problemi di orario è riccamente affrescato è dotato di fonte battesimale in legno. Vale sicuramente una visita, e qualche scatto fotografico....
Small in size and behind the church; it can be visited without any problems, it is richly frescoed and has a wooden baptismal font. Definitely worth a visit, and some photo shoots ....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il battistero, che risale all'XI secolo, fu fatto costruire dal vescovo Regimpoto che resse la diocesi di Concordia presumibilmente tra il 1089 e il 1105.
L'edificio si fa' notare per la costruzione a croce greca in stile romanico con un deciso influsso bizantino.
L'interno ha la pareti e la volta ricoperti di bellissimi affreschi.
Concordia ha molti altri gioielli tutti da visitare: la cattedrale di Santo Stefano, la Basilica paleocristiana, la via Annia, il ponte romano e altro ancora...
The baptistery, which dates back to the 11th century, was built by the bishop Regimpoto who presided over the diocese of Concordia presumably between 1089 and 1105.
The building is noted for its Greek cross construction in Romanesque style with a decided Byzantine influence.
The interior has walls and a vault covered with beautiful frescoes.
