★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima chiesa con un fascino particolare, molto suggestiva anche la cripta che c'è sotto con le statue della via crucis, in un paesino come Montefiascone, sembra strano che ci sia una chiesa così imponente, ma la storia dice del passaggio del papa e c'è anche la via francigena.
Beautiful church with a particular charm, very suggestive also the crypt below with the statues of the via crucis, in a village like Montefiascone, it seems strange that there is such an imposing church, but history tells of the passage of the pope and c is also the via francigena.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stumbled upon this cathedral while roaming the streets of Montefiascone and was caught by surprise by its beauty. Its dome is the 3rd largest in Italy and its construction began as early as the 15th century. The cathedral is large and contains very beautiful, religous art pieces. There is also another section of the cathedral worth visiting which lies below the main church. It contains relics of St. Lucia Filippini and a glass tomb of Cardinal Marco Antonio Barbarigo. You'll need to pay 1 euro to have the lights on in this section.
