Tiene todo un sector de arquitectura ladrillera que remite a las viejas estaciones de trenes, influídas por la arquitectura ferroviaria inglesa. Está muy limpia y en un estado excelente. Una joya dentro de la región. Funcionamiento muy ágil y sencillo. Barletta train station is one of the most beautiful in the area. M	Michele Rociola on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Barletta e' una bella citta' da vedere assolutamente.Da qualche anno vedo molti gruppi di turisti, sia italiani e anche europei,specialmente di origine tedesca,francese e inglese.Ho notato anche dei turisti del Giappone.Tornando alla citta',Barletta offre parecchi monumenti da vedere di epoca medioevale ma nello stesso tempo si puo' vedere il simbolo per eccellenza della citta'(Eraclio) la piu' grande statua in bronzo dell'Imperatore bizantino.Possiamo vedere il grande e austero castello Svevo con il busto in pietra dell'imperatore Federico 2,la cattedrale e le altre chiese storiche,fra queste la chiesa del Santo Sepolcro che custodisce La Sacra Spina(corona di spine di Gesu').Tappa importante e' quella di visitare la Cantina della Sfida,qui vediamo la statua che raffigura Ettore Fieramosca che sconfigge in duello La Motte (comandante dei 13 cavalieri francesi sconfitti dai 13 cavalieri italiani).Per gli appassionati di storia delle crociate Barletta e' stata a suo tempo sede di stanziamento e amministrazione dei Cavalieri Templari e di Malta che partivano per la Terra di Gerusalemme.E' possibile vedere questa sede presso la chiesa di San Domenico ove si nota (Via dei Templar) angolo Corso Cavour/Corso Garibaldi.E per chi vuole respirare un po' di storia di Roma e' altrettanto inprescindibile non vedere le rovine di Canne della famosa Battaglia tra Annibale e le Legioni Romane.Spero di aver fatto una buona descrizione di cosa offre Barletta e vi assicuro che starete bene anche a mangiare.Nel periodo estivo e' il massimo per godere il tutto in quanto si puo' fare una bella vacanza avendo la citta' un mare con delle lunghe spiaggie libere e lidi magnifici.Per gli appassionati di musica nel periodo estivo si fanno concerti e party.Infine per gli amanti del teatro Barletta offre il bel Teatro Curci dove nel periodo invernale(covid permettendo) si svolgono parecchi eventi teatrali e di spettacolo.
